Dr Taraneh Mostaghasi MD, FAAP

Taraneh Mostaghasi, MD, FAAP, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University, where she graduated magna cum laude and made university and national dean’s lists. During this period, she was awarded multiple scholarships, as well as membership of the American Chemical Society. Matriculating to Ross University School of Medicine, she went on to clinical clerkships in hospitals affiliated with Mount Sinai School of Medicine, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and the State University of New York. Her dream of becoming a pediatrician then led her to a pediatrics residency at Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey, which is affiliated with Mount Sinai School of Medicine.  She has been practicing in Contra Costa County, California since January 2010.

Dr. Mostaghasi lives with her husband and two sons in Walnut Creek. She enjoys outdoor activities, reading, cooking, and music.

Dr. Mostaghasi is Board Certified pediatrician.
